Our company is called Noah Corporation. The inspiration for the name is Noah’s Ark. As a company dedicated to creating and exploring unprecedented business models from new perspectives in an ever-changing semiconductor industry, we thought this name was fitting.
Noah, after all, was the creator of a new world. Now, in the 21st century, we have boarded the new Noah’s Ark, joined hands with the crew (employees), and ailed into the ocean (industry). As we journey on our ark, we take pride in the business models we create - models that always provide the values our customers seek. This is the origin of Noah Corporation

Today, eight years into the new millennium, our environments are more uncertain than ever before. Drastic changes are expected in the social structure of Japan and the multipolar power structure of the new world order. Daily economic and living environments are greatly impacted by new energy crises, financial crises, and breakdowns of safe and secure social norms. Structural changes in society and economy clearly await us the horizon

This environment reminds us of the storm in the Book of Genesis in the Old Testament. We call our ourselves Noah Corporation in the hopes of overcoming and surviving the turmoil ahead. Noah has decided to quickly alter its course. Today we are revising our business models to meet changing times, revamping management, and restructuring our medium-term business plan.

We reaffirm the commitment of all of our employees to work with customers and manufacturers with sincerity, fairness and enthusiasm as trusted genuine partners, and to do business with high ethical standards.

Our management policies call first for a strengthened financial position. Next, they call for employees with improved technical skills, and ongoing growth of the company as a provider of high-quality products and services.

In the short term we will review, select, and focus on current product lines from customer perspectives and shift our focus to products with high productivity and high market value. In the medium term we will establish system for exporting the equipment, tools, and accumulated know-how of the Japanese semiconductor industry into the booming manufacturing industries of Asian markets. In the long term we will discover and sell Japanese “Takumi (master)” technology products and strive to become company that operates flexibly and rapidly.
